العنوان   صديقي و أنا 

أخذنا  التعب 

 

و  نحن  نسير   لا أين  نقصدها 

و لا  مكان   نرو  إليه 

صديقي  و أنا  

يشكو  لي  خيانة الدنيا 

و أشكو  له  غدرها 

ترقرقت الدموع في عينينا 

تشابكت  أيدينا 

 

لا  تحزن  ياصديقي 

أنا معك  

و في طريق  بوحنا  الحزينة 

صادفنا  نافورة 

ياإلهي أنظر هناك !!

هل تفكر  بما  أفكر 

تسابقنا  إلى هناك 

عند  النافورة  

أخذنا  الغطس 

بشغف   كبير 

نسينا  كل ما  و من أبكانا  

و راحت  مياه  النافورة 

تغمرنا 

تغسل  ما  في أرواحنا من تعب 

غطسنا    هناك

لعبنا    ضحكنا 

 و نسينا  

نسينا  كل الأوجاع 

صديقي و أنا  .

We grew tired

As we walked, nowhere to go

nor anywhere to look

My Friend and I

He complained to me about the world's betrayal

And I complained to him about its treachery

Tears welled up in our eyes

Our hands clasped together

Don't be sad, my friend

I am with you

And on our sad path of confession

We came across a fountain

Oh my God, look over there!!

 Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

We raced there

to the fountain

We took the plunge

with great passion

We forgot everything and everyone that made us cry

And the fountain waters

swept over us

Washing away the tiredness in our souls

We dived there

We played, we laughed

and we forgot

We forgot all the pain

My friend and I.
